Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, Kelly was a child of the 80’s and she loved every minute of it!  It was a time of skirts connected to pants, Bowler hats, steel-toe combat boots, diaper pants, tight rolled jeans, vests, perms, and so much more.  Kelly has always enjoyed fashion and was never shy of being one step ahead of the game; sporting fashions before they were cool.  After all these years, one thing she has kept in her closet is loads of jewelry, shoes...boots especially...and tons of jackets.  Her style is very classic, European, tailored but not fussy and with a little edge.

Speaking of European, the name KELIETZA is a nickname that Kelly’s Opa (grandpa in German) nicknamed her.  It means “Little Kelly” in Yugoslavian.  Her heritage includes German, Polish, and Yugoslovian; which is fitting since she relates with international styling and most of her fashions come from overseas.  Her passion is to seek new and fabulous lines that her very fashionable and discerning clients will love just as much as she does.

 

 

  

 

 

 

Kelly is daughter to a motorcycle-loving dad who she describes as much fun as he is smart.  “Technically”, a white collar professional in a blue collar body.  A witty and funny man with a soft side;  you will only meet it if he lets you.  He urged all three of his girls to be brave and try new and daring things.  Whether it be canoeing, horseback riding, learning  to ride a motorcycle, raising pets, or playing sports…his girls could do it all.  

  

She is daughter to the most supportive mother who wears her heart on her very fashionable sleeve.  The travel bug is definitely something her mom passed on to her.  She kept Kelly focused on learning the Spanish language when she wanted to give up.  Spanish was in fact the key that brought Kelly to Barcelona, Spain. A year later, she returned as a young woman on a mission.  Having a glass of wine and a fabulous meal is where you are likely to catch them relaxing.  

    
 

 

In the near future, Kelly plans to add an extension to her ever growing new business.  She hopes to travel to new and distant places collecting special finds that can be sold in her shop.  Since often complimented on her accessories as well as having received offers on quite a few, Kelly plans to use her very selective eye to bring one of-a-kind pieces to her clients that share her passion for the unexpected!
